ALEX HOLLAND - Founder
Alex has worked as a journalist in the UK, Venezuela and India. After that he led the campaign to stop Brixton Market getting knocked down and went on to represent Brixton Hill as a local government Councillor.
He's got an MA in Leadership for Sustainable Development and created the world's first Tea Pub which was Crowdcube's most-shared startup.
He loves reading, writing and is one of these lost tribes of posh people who was born in Brixton.
Claire alexis - all things visual
Claire is a graphic designer and visioning facilitator with an MA in Interaction Design and Visual Communication.
She’s passionate about promoting sustainable alternatives to the status quo, and has used her skills to support businesses, community projects and now SolarPunk Stories.
She is happiest on the yoga mat or whilst roller skating around her french hometown and has an insatiable appetite for podcasts about the future.
Jennifer Nweke - Solarpunk Gardening
Jennifer’s a solarpunk spirited 19 year old living between Brixton and Uxbridge.
As well as studying Global Challenges at Brunel University, she’s the Founder of SolarPUNK Collective and SolarPunk Garden.
These are both spaces she hopes will bring people together to make a solarpunk world a reality. The first SolarPunk Garden is planned for Brixton to find out more click here.
JAMES MACHELL - FICTION editor
James is a British sci-fi writer and editor. He boasts the pleasure of publishing his conversations with the likes of Ken Liu, Samuel R. Delany, and P. Djèlí Clark.
He is also the contest chair for the Science Fiction & Fantasy Poetry Association, outreach manager for Utopia Science Fiction Magazine and a contributor to The Encyclopedia of Science Fiction.
